Kendall Hall
The University of Tulsa offers students the opportunity to participate in an exciting and varied season of plays and musicals, which are housed in first-rate facilities that rank with the very best in the Southwest. Kendall Hall features two fully equipped theatres, a scene shop, costume shop, dressing rooms and computer design lab. Our facilities allow student designers and technicians to explore their crafts in lab and production work. Reflecting the collaborative energy at the heart of the performing arts, Kendall Hall is an active home for performers, directors, designers and technicians, as well as audiences.
Chapman Theatre
Chapman Theatre hosts the majority of the theatrical performances at TU. It is equipped with a computerized lighting board and sound system and offers a dynamic theatre experience. It features a flexible thrust/proscenium stage and has a seating capacity of 375.
Theatre II
Theatre II is an intimate and versatile black box performance space. It also serves as a studio classroom and lab for developing new work. The seating configuration is flexible and will serve multiple performance styles. Depending on the shape of the playing space, the seating capacity is approximately 100.
Lorton Performance Center
The Lorton Performance Center is a 77,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility which includes dressing suites, a green room and VIP lounge, as well as shower and laundry facilities; ample space for theatrical set and instrument storage; a costume shop and a scenery staging room.
Gussman Concert Hall with seating for 635 on two floors, as well as a full performance stage with ballet floor, scenery fly and trap room, a hydraulic orchestra pit, and the most technologically current theatrical lighting and acoustical control booths.
The Menig Recital Hall accommodates 88 guests in fixed seating with flip-desktops, making this an ideal music and film classroom setting as well as a venue for recitals, meetings, presentations and performances.
