Language rights at home and abroad
Professor Eduardo Faingold, from The University of Tulsa School of Language and Literature, recently published a book on language policies in Scandinavian countries. Titled 'Language Rights and the Law in Scandinavia,' the book explores language development and policies in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and Greenland. Faingold, a renowned expert in Spanish and linguistics, has authored numerous articles and is concurrently working on a book examining the Spanish language in contact with Hebrew and Yiddish across Latin America, Europe, and Israel.
