Matt Faeth (BA ’16) has been named campaign manager for Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett, who’s running for re-election this year. Bartlett’s selection should not come as much of a surprise since previous campaign managers are Jarred Brejcha (BA ’06) and Dan Patten (BA ’10), are also alumni. The mayor jokes that hiring graduates from TU’s Kendall College of Arts and Sciences has now become something of a tradition.
“The University of Tulsa has been an invaluable asset to our city. TU has played a tremendous role in providing smart, energetic and talented young professionals to our city’s economy. Clearly, I have always been impressed by TU students and what they bring to our community,” Bartlett said.
Faeth, who majored in communications and political science, worked his way up from volunteer to intern to campaign staffer and now has been given the opportunity to manage the mayor’s re-election campaign in its entirety.
“Matt has proven himself, repeatedly, to be dependable, hardworking and competent. He exemplifies the values that I look for as an employer, and he should be proud of where his efforts have gotten him,” Bartlett said.
