The Henry Kendall College of Arts and Sciences provides students with a broad foundation of study in the fine and performing arts, humanities, languages and social sciences in more than 38 major areas of study through 16 departments and schools. Art and sciences majors have the creative freedom to pursue many career fields after graduation.
Students have the opportunity to conduct research in their area of interest under the guidance of our world-class professors, to structure an independent study course tailored to their academic and career goals or to take advantage of public service internship opportunities for career exploration.
Above all, students gain a solid foundation by participating in the college’s nationally recognized Tulsa Curriculum, which engages them in books and ideas of Western and other cultures. The program emphasizes critical thinking and clear writing and enables students to analyze what they study and to communicate more effectively.
