The School of Urban Education welcome four new graduate assistants: Kasey Trowhill, Chisam Lane (Ed. Studies), Amy Moore, and TJ Mobra.
Kasey graduated from TU in 2013 with Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science and is currently in the MSMSE program. Her goal is to teach Middle School Science in the local area. She also loves tacos and to run with her dog, Gordy.
Chisam, a native of Hydro, is pursuing his master’s degree in educational studies.
Amy recently defended her thesis and will graduate with a M.S. in Biology in December. She is pursuing an M.Ed. to learn the teaching side and plans to teach high school biology. Amy has two children, a 7-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son, along with Arctic, a cat adopted from the Tulsa Animal Welfare.
TJ is from Claremore and served in the Army for 6½ years. Thereafter, he worked in environmental business and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in that field. TJ is in the MSMSE program with plans to teach at the college level. He is married and has two children as well as a boxer.
